From the terminal, cd to the root level and do an ls to see the other directories (folders). Assistance will be available with software setup and maintenance such as setting up email, connecting to the server, and printing. Mac veterans have been singing Alfred's praises for years, but some of Apple’s newer users might not have heard about the mighty app launcher. You should find the Applications listed there. Click on Macintosh HD and that will display contents of the root directory. Dropbox (also free) is a good choice if you don’t need the attached web services and prefer a simpler, leaner (2 GB) cloud storage service. From a finder window you can right click on the directory name at the top of the finder window. Dart on AWS Lambda and Serverless Computing with Sebastian Döll (E6) Google Drive is a compelling choice because it offers 15 GB of storage space, and best-in-class web apps, like Google Docs and Sheets for free.
We talked about how you deploy Dart applications, how you can connect to different databases from your Dart backend server, and how Alfred supports websockets. We discussed how Ryan decided to write Alfred and his previous experience with alternative backend option for Dart, such as Aqueduct, Angel, and Shelf, and why he thinks Dart could be the Node.js "killer". Where to go Insync supports both Spotlight search and selective sync, making it efficient on file storage, internet traffic and Office productivity. Ryan is the author of the performant, Express.js-like server framework Alfred written in Dart. Apart from the frustration and time suck imposed on Mac users the very non-transparent lack of support for Spotlight drives people towards abandoning Microsoft Office. In this episode of the Flutter 101 Podcast, I talked to Ryan Knell.
